Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate remodeling projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop project budgets and proposals.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and company leadership.
• Maintain accurate estimating databases and pricing information.
• Assist in value engineering and project planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential remodeling or construction estimating experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of remodeling methods, materials, and construction practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and construction management tools.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
